Digitale Female Leadership Award
In 2019, I was part of the jury for the Digitale Female Leadership award. On stage, I had the honour to give a laudatory speech for the winner in the category “education”: Lindiwe Matlali. Her non-profit organisation “Africa Teen Geeks” @AFRICATEENGEEKS is educating teens in the fields of IT and coding – and has the power to change the life of a whole South African generation. The untamed selfless energy and work Lindiwe puts into fighting for the organisation and its students is remarkable and admirable.
